A February day in 2023...

GET REAL!! This couple was an absolute blast to hangout with. Their day was as fun and carefree as the couple. We started our day getting ready with the girls, who had the comfiest matching outfits. This is always one of my favorite moments of a wedding. Everyone is so excited and showering the bride with LOVE! The HMUA's did not disappoint. Ireland looked as gorgeous as ever and we were so excited to get to the church and get her into her dress!

St. Mary's is easily one of the most gorgeous church in Sandusky to have your wedding day at. The details in and outside of the church are impeccable. While the ladies finished their final touches in the basement, Christopher and his groomsmen got spiffy upstairs. We always love when mom gets to see the groom for the first time!

FIRST TOUCH!

Easily our favorite part of their day! First looks aren't for everyone but we love that Ireland and Chris still decided to have a special moment together before their wedding day. We chose a gorgeous spot on the altar where the couple shared letters to each other. This not only helped them get some emotion out before the ceremony, created an unforgettable moment together, but also this PHOTO OPPORTUNITY! Such gorgeous additional photos in their album!

After the ceremony, we ventured downtown Sandusky for wedding portraits! We made a few stops with the bridal party. Despite the chilly day, we had SO much fun dancing and adventuring through some cool buildings and alleys!

We always love The Sandusky Yatch Club to start the party! The service and space provided is truly top notch. We finished the night with a full dance floor and full memories! Check out the highlights below to see their day unfold!

Their Love Story

We met as freshmen in high school and became friends pretty quickly. Through our first two years of high school we stayed close, hanging out often in groups and even sometimes just the two of us. People would frequently suggest that we should date or that we must already be dating. However, we were always quick to disagree with them. The summer going into our junior year is when our friendship started to change. We went from usually hanging out in groups to it being just the two of us, and started talking on the phone most nights, so clearly something was up! Eventually we had a conversation that went something like "well if you like me, then I might like you" and the rest is history! We went on to date through our junior and senior years of high school, and both ended up at Ohio State (we each like to say the other followed us there). Together we made countless memories in Columbus. Our favorite of which is our engagement, which conveniently fell on April Fools' Day!
