We know that Ohio's weather is unpredictable and it can make planning outdoor photoshoots a challenge. Check out our favorite go-to tips for unexpected weather below!
What will happen if the weather isn't looking good?
- Your photographer will reach out to you within 1-4 days of your session to check in.
- Since the weather is always changing we will wait until the night before or the morning of your session to make a final decision.
How do we work around unexpected weather?
- If you originally had planned your session outside, we can move to an indoor location, like our studio or a creative location (a local coffee shop, greenhouse, library .. to name a few!)
- We also will consider rescheduling if you had your heart set on an outdoor location! While we always try to stick close to our original plans, sometimes the best option is rescheduling so your session is enjoyable and what you are envisioning.

how do we work around unexpected weather for a wedding?
- We can opt for an indoor location for your portraits. Your ceremony or reception location are two great spots to move photos to. If your wedding is local, don't forget our studio is always an option too!
- In addition, we may be able to scope out some other local spots that are covered for you.
- Bonus tip! Consider including a clear umbrella. If the rain or snow is only minimal this is such a cute option!
