Happy ONE year anniversary to these two!

What a sweet wedding day with these two. We absolutely loved meeting them and having the honor of capturing their big day!

I remember the first time I saw Brooke on the University of Findlay campus. Her beauty caught my eye right away. However, I didn't think much of it at the time since I was trying to catch the bus for my first tennis match of the season my freshmen year. Whether she remembers seeing me, I doubt it. LOL. However, I do remember seeing her that day. I was so focused on my match and what needed to be done the rest of the day, that trying to connect with her from there slipped my mind. In doing so, the next 4 years of college went by so fast. It's ironic that COVID hit shortly after I reached out to her on Facebook to finally connect. I saw she posted something about her parish, All Saints, and an event that was going on. I also remember her playing softball so I mentioned, when reaching out to her, about my sister's best friend from high school playing softball at UF as well with Brooke. Why I waited so long to reach out to her, it beats me! In doing so, because of COVID, it took quite a few weeks and months before we finally met up in person for our first date at the reservoir in Findlay. I remember babbling about anything such as sports and what she did for work that I never wanted there to be an awkward silence when we first met. She must've enjoyed her time, but I was lucky enough to get a 2nd date with her. LOL. Our 2nd date involved her showing me around her small town of New Riegel along with going to Meadowbrook Park, where we will have our wedding reception at. I'm not sure if she was trying to tell me something or not on that 2nd date by going to Meadowbrook Park or not, but I certainly remember the delicious ice cream we had after! From there, the various parks we visited, meeting each other's families, and spending quality time with each other the weekends, our relationship with one another continued to grow even stronger. I specifically remember meeting he family for the time after a wonderful Olive Garden dinner and going back on walk behind the woods behind her parents' home. It spoke volumes to me of how important family was to her, and the fact her other 2 sisters live within walking distance of her parents' home. LOL. I know how important family is to me and the fact the her bond with everyone in her family and her nieces and future nephews is so strong, it showed me how bright our future could be together. One year later, we went on a date to the reservoir in Findlay, where our first date was. Little did she know, I had that evening planned out where I invited her sister's family to join in on the surprise of me proposing to her at the top of the reservoir. We capped the evening off with dinner at Red Lobster where I invited the rest of her family there for the surprise. It didn't take too long for the rest of her family to figure out why everyone was at Red Lobster for dinner together. We are very excited about our big day and can't wait for all our families to join us on our big day! We are extremely blessed with wonderful, caring, and loving families, that our future together and our relationship together, will only continue to grow stronger and stronger because of the wonderful support we have! Thank you to our families and friends that will be celebrating with us leading up to our big and on the day of our wedding too!
