Eastman Wedding: Part 1

Joe and Casey met at her best friend’s birthday party, where they began their friendship through the mutual love for hiking. They fell in love fast while getting to know each other through their adventures at numerous hiking destinations. It only made sense for Joe to “pop the question” on a very memorable hike in Tennessee under a breath taking waterfall. After all hiking is their “thing”.

Adventure Awaits

Their wedding day was just like the couple; an adventure!

It was a cool January day, friends and family gathered at a large cabin in a favorite hiking location: Hocking Hills to celebrate this sweet couples love for each other along with their passion for hiking. They started their wedding hike in the afternoon to one of Hocking Hills gorgeous sites, Cedar Falls. The groom, family, and friends gathered at the top of the trail and hiked to the bottom, while Casey and her son Noah had a special hike behind the rest. Casey had gorgeous flowers in her hiking bag, carrying her late father’s ashes. This was a such a special moment for Casey, as she hiked with her son and father to reach her groom. Noah and Casey have such a special bond, and it was so clear to see as they laughed and talked throughout the trail. Once they got to the end of the trail, Casey had a letter for Noah. After reading the letter, Noah jumped into his moms arms and said, "I love you so much, Mom!". Noah was just as excited as Casey to have Joe as a part of their family.

Cozy Cabin Time

Noah walked Casey to Joe with their family and friends surrounding them. There, they exchanged vows and rings. This couple’s love for each other is so apparent and contagious that it caught all the other hikers’ attention who all cheered along as these sweet love birds officially became Mr. and Mrs. Eastman!

The newlyweds and their families hiked back to the top of the trail then back to the cabin where they got cozy and celebrated with dinner and a fire.
